People encountering with domestic violence will receive a device via court order. After pressing the button, a report information will be send to the 155 in 6 seconds and the nearest law enfourcement unit will be directed to the event place.

Electronic support system is being started for protecting the people encountering with domestic violence. Minister of Family and Social Policies; Fatma Şahin has reported that they will continue to fight against the violence and she has also sait that “If we cannot prevent the violence and protect the person, we will not bury our heads into the sand.” She has also said that 25 men in Bursa were waiting for that button.

The panic button project, which was developed with cooperation of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and the General Directorate of Security, has been started. The Minister of Family and Social Policies; Fatma Şahin has distributed the devices in a ceremony performed in Bursa. She said that “We will press the love button, the concience button, the mercy button and the tolerance button. Anyone who presses this button will not need the button already”.

The electronic supporting system – pilot application, which was developed in cooperation of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, General Directorate of Security and Avea, for protecting the people encountering with domestic violence, has been introduced to the press in a meeting performed in Bursa. Şahin has also performed the first report by pressing the button.
